July 19 – August 21, 2016
Directed by Courtenay Dobbie
Music by Corey Payette

This summer we present the Pulitzer Prize winning classic, Our Town, by Thornton Wilder. Distinguished as one of the finest plays ever written, Our Town tells the story of the small town of Grover’s Corners between 1901 and 1913 through the everyday lives of its citizens.  It speaks to valuing our loved ones and fellow man; to taking pleasure in the finer things and the time we are given on this earth; to searching for beauty as part of our daily routines, adding up to a lifetime of memories and love.  In Our Town, playwright Thornton Wilder reveals his wonder in the constancy of life as his characters move through the milestones of “marrying…living…and dying.”
