A LOVE STORY SET TO MUSIC.
THE OKANAGAN’S ALL AGES
The Walk of Terror has been postponed to October 2021. This is a spectacular event for the whole family incorporating theatre, music, and the incredible stilt-walking, fire juggling performances of Kinshira, the Okanagan’s own Performance Art Troupe. The Walk of Terror is approximately 25 to 30 minutes long and ends up at our Timber Barn, where you will find music, fires to warm up by, and a full bar featuring local wine, craft beer and spirits as well as non-alcoholic beverages, smokies, and free marshmallows for the kids.
FEATURING FREAK MOTIF
The Wednesday Night Jam took off when a group of strangers picked up their instruments and went parading through downtown Calgary. Sharing a love of improvised music, funk, soul, disco, afrobeat, and reggae, the Jam sparked a movement that has evolved into an 8-piece dance party called FREAK MOTIF.
“Groove. Funk. Space. It’s all a part of the sonic trip that is freak motif, who’ve been winning over heads and hips with their superfly improvised fusion of everything from blues and afrobeat to reggae, rock, hip-hop, ska, soul, jazz and jam.”
“This music compels you to move like holy writ… A celebration made of big brass climaxes, wicked keys and deeply sensual guitar work”
– Divide And Conquer
“The 8-piece ensemble has matured their sound and is out to fill dance floors across the globe”
– Skeme Richards The Nostalgia King
The wonderful By LUKE REECE.
A fresh take on It’s A Wonderful Life by one of Toronto’s most decorated slam poets, now postponed to the Winter of 2021.
The Winter Sleigh Ride Show is a professionally produced theatre production staged in up to five locations, outdoors, on our 80-acre venue. The audience is transported from scene to scene by horse-drawn sleigh (or wagon, depending on the snow). A winter tradition for thousands of families, the Winter Sleigh Ride show is a one-of-a-kind experience, incorporating the adventure and beauty of a night-time horse-drawn sleigh ride, the spectacle of professionally executed theatre design, and the high calibre performances for which this company has become known.
