ACCESSIBILITY

We want you to have a spectacular experience here. We recognize the urgency in addressing the barriers our community faces to full access to our programming, physical infrastructure and site. We are committed to constant improvement. Please inform our Box Office of your access needs when you book your tickets, and we will do our best to ensure that you have what you need to enjoy your visit.

Parking: We have a designated section for accessible parking right next to our welcome gate and Box Office. Look for the signage. 

Mobility: We have an accessible washroom at ground level. Our terrain is uneven ground, but it is navigable by wheelchair. Our sleighs and bleachers can accommodate wheelchairs, and patrons are welcome to drive closer to the show sites/load-up areas to facilitate ease of access.

The Walk of Terror is a multi-km path through the forest and fields. This production may not be wheelchair accessible, however, please contact the Box Office for further discussion. 

Service Animals: Accredited service animals are welcome to attend our shows and events with their owners. Please contact our Box Office to confirm, as most of our performances include live animals.

Financial Access: We partner with community sponsors to provide Pay-What-You-Can performances for community members for whom regular ticket prices may be a barrier to attending our shows. If you are part of a community organization that may want to book into a performance with a group for whom ticket prices may be a barrier, please contact our Box Office.

Website: We want everyone who visits the Caravan Farm Theatre website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding. To help us make the Caravan Farm Theatre website a positive place for everyone, we’ve been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user-friendly for everyone. The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA, and AAA). We’ve chosen Level A as the target for the Caravan Farm Theatre website.
