Welcome All
Hello and welcome to Caravan Farm Theatre, we are so thrilled to be your hosts. We will do everything in our power to make your visit a positive and meaningful one. We want you to feel a sense of belonging. We want you to feel seen. We want you to feel safe. Why? Because this is what good hosts do, but also: Theatre is a space for speculation, imagination, and invention. It is a place where we encounter challenging ideas and differences of opinion. It is an opportunity for empathy. To do this work together requires trust, care, and respect. And so, welcome to the Theatre. We are so glad to see you here.
We want you to have a spectacular experience here. Please inform our Box Office of your needs, and we will do our best to ensure that you have what you need to enjoy your visit.
Mobility: Our terrain is uneven ground, but it is navigable by wheelchair. Our washrooms are wheelchair accessible. Our sleighs and bleachers can accommodate wheelchairs, and patrons are welcome to drive closer to the show sites/load-up areas to facilitate ease of access.
The Walk of Terror is a 2.5km path through the woods and fields. This production may not be wheelchair accessible, however, please contact the Box Office for further discussion.
Service Animals: Accredited service animals are welcome to attend our shows and events with their owners. Please contact our Box Office to confirm, as most of our performances include live animals.
Website: We want everyone who visits the Caravan Farm Theatre website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding. To help us make the Caravan Farm Theatre website a positive place for everyone, we’ve been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user-friendly for everyone. The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA, and AAA). We’ve chosen Level A as the target for the Caravan Farm Theatre website.
We monitor the website regularly to maintain this, but if you do find any problems, please get in touch.

Do we need to print our tickets to present at the Box Office?
Printed tickets are not necessary. When you arrive, make your way to the Box Office and we can find your tickets by name. If you purchased the tickets on someone else’s behalf and will not be attending, please contact the Box Office before arrival.
I am no longer able to attend the event. Can I get a refund?
Tickets will not be refunded or rebooked due to illness, weather or road closures. If you wish to sell your ticket, you can do so by visiting our Facebook page and posting on our message board – this is where we direct people who are looking for tickets once we’ve sold out. Please contact the Box Office to inform of us of the name change.
What if I arrive after the performance has started?
Whenever possible, latecomers will be seated during appropriate intervals within the performance. If you will be late, please contact the Box Office.
If there is poor weather will the show be cancelled?
We are a hardy bunch and will go ahead with the show in almost all conditions. Weather conditions are changeable, so we don’t make a call to cancel until the evening of the event. If there is rain, we will move the production (aside from the Walk of Terror) into our covered rain venue.
Are the performances accessible?
The summer and winter shows are wheelchair accessible. For the winter show, patrons in wheelchairs must be accompanied by someone to assist them into and out of the sleigh. Wheelchairs are not permitted on sleighs.
As the Walk of Terror takes place on the uneven or forested ground, we recommend that you call the Box Office before purchasing a ticket.
Are pets allowed?
With the exception of accredited service animals, no pets are allowed, due to the involvement of horses.
Will there be beverages or food onsite?
Yes! We proudly serve locally produced foods and beverages. Our Bar & Concession will be open serving hot buttered popcorn, local fine wine, ales, and ciders, and an assortment of snacks.
Can I take pictures?
You are free to take pictures before and after the show! However, photography is not permitted during a show or production.
What should I wear and bring?
Dress for the weather! Our productions take place outdoors in a natural environment. Dressing in layers and bringing blankets is encouraged.
