Part SNL, part Stuart McLean, part Grand Ole Opry, and part The Rick Mercer Report… twith a big dollop of square dance party! Put your bedazzled jeans on and get out to Caravan Farm for an evening of hilarity and hoe down.
What is a VAUDEVILLE BARN DANCE?
The VAUDEVILLE comes from the French: “Voice of the City” and will take the form of a one-hour variety show with sketch comedy, improv, stand up, stories and songs about life here in the Okanagan. DON’T WORRY ABOUT AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION! You will be fine. We won’t come for you.
The BARN DANCE will be a traditional square dance with a live band, and the person calling out the do-si-do will be none other than one of Toronto’s most decorated slam poets, Luke Reece!
Our SATURDAY NIGHT performances of July 25 and August 1, will kick it up a notch and feature folk/country stars TRIXIE and DUSTIN BENTALL!
Staged in the Timber Barn, the evening will unfold with a cast of incredible musicians, comedians, and storytellers amidst the rolling green fields and summer sunsets of Caravan Farm Theatre’s 80 acres. Come early and stroll the meadows, bring a picnic, enjoy a craft ale.
Gates open at 6:30pm, The performance begins at 7:30pm

All Caravan Farm Theatre performances are held outdoors. In the event of rain the show will be relocated to our dry and covered Rain Venue, ensuring that you see the full show in comfort.SUMMER SHOW COMFORT TIPS
- The show lasts approximately 2 hours with one 15-minute intermission.
- It cools off at night so be sure to bring warm clothes.
- We have a licensed concession with beer, wine, coffee and snacks. Bring cash!
- We have heated, wheelchair accessible washrooms.
- Mobility parking is located at the end of the parking lot closest to the box office booth and is marked with blue signs.
- Caravan Farm Theatre is located in the countryside North-West of Armstrong. Please factor this into your driving time. If you have not visited before, we recommend that you print out a map and have it with you when you drive.
- Shows will not be held for latecomers.
- Dogs are not permitted at shows. Please leave them at home rather than in your car.
